My Transformational Adventure with Wholeness Coaching


Preparation ahead of the adventure

This weekend promises the possibility to experience something new in your life and doing something in nature to facilitate this. One of the ways in which you prepare for this is to set your own unique intention for your trip. We tend to spend a lot of time “in our heads” these days and the power of intention is something that we have lost touch with.  This is an invitation to spend some time considering what you would like to get out of the upcoming weekend.

Preparation

Thursday evening

2100 Start (optional) fast at home

Day 1

Friday

1000 Meet in Lake District

1100 Start the walk

1300 Top of the mountain

1400 Walk to camp (forest)

1600 Arrive at camp (before dark)

1000 hours Meet in Lake District

Meeting point Pre-arranged public meeting point at location

Welcome

  • Guidelines
  • Mountain Safety briefing
  • Weather outlook – advice on best mix of clothing
  • Take bloods and record
  • Discuss packs
  • Emergency procedure
  • Medical reminders

1100 hours Start the walk

Walking slowly together until reaching the point where the first exercise is introduced – invite participants to consider what they are feeling as they embark on the walk.

Various thought-provoking discussions take place as the group moves to another location – walking in nature signifies a threshold and prompts the questions needed for the weekend.

1130/1200 hours Mountain walk

Next part of the walk continues in silence to connect with your inner self.

Pre-Summit

Group activity focusing on the physical aspects.

1300 hours Top of the mountain

  • Sharing at the top
  • Coffee stop

Group check in on the topic of what they have learned in reaching the summit.

 1400 hours Walk to camp (forest)

Descending off the mountain

Before descending – though-provoking questions are raised to consider whilst walking.  

1600 hours Arrive at camp (before dark)

  • Pitch tents
  • Light fire

Journalling

Participants are invited, and guided, to take notes about themselves and the process from during the day.

Various Transformational Activities

When finished, there is an opportunity to either share or move forward individually from what has been learned and understood during the process.

Saturday

0600 Wake up and leave camp (no packs)

0800 Summit at sunrise

1000 Return to camp

1130 Vision meditation

1300 Cold Plunge

1330 Break fast

1400 Arrive car park

0600 hours Wake up and leave camp (no packs)

Coffee hot drink

0800 hours Summit at sunrise

Mountain walk

1000 hours Return to camp

  • Guided Breathwork session

1130 hours Vision meditation

1300 hours Cold Plunge

1330 hours Break fast

Pack up camp

1400 hours Arrive car park

  • Take bloods again and record
  • Certificates
